APPLICATION
The Water Injection Quality sensor is used by gasoline vehicle equipped with water injection system. It is used to measure the water conductivity, avoiding tampering or misfilling.
FUNCTIONALITY
The Water Injection Q-Sensor provides continuous measurement of the water conductivity. Water injection systems work using only deionized water with conductivity lower than 100 mS/cm. The Quality sensor is necessary to maintain under control the water conductivity, avoiding use of tap water or other fluids which could damage the engine. Exploiting the conductivity measurement, the sensor is able to detect the presence of other fluid like gasoline, washing fluids, ethanol and their mixture.
